About SuperNetters
NETBALL DESIGNED FOR YOUNG GIRLS
SuperNetters
SuperNetters—formerly known as MiniNetters—has come a long way since launching in 2016. What began as a small-scale program has now grown into a thriving community dedicated to introducing young girls to the world of netball. While the name has changed, the mission remains the same: to provide a fun, supportive space where girls can grow both on and off the court.
The SuperNetters program goes beyond teaching netball skills. It’s about building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and promoting good sportsmanship. Every session is designed to be enjoyable, while also helping girls stay active and develop both mentally and socially. Through the game, they learn to work together, respect others, and believe in themselves—lessons that last far beyond the final whistle.
Training is thoughtfully structured around different age groups to ensure that each girl receives coaching that matches her stage of physical and social development. These age-appropriate sessions focus on building athletic ability while also supporting personal growth and social confidence.
In collaboration with Netball Scotland, SuperNetters is proud to play a key role in developing the sport at the grassroots level. This partnership helps ensure that girls not only learn the game but also have the chance to thrive within a broader sporting community.
The move to the name SuperNetters marks a new chapter—one that reflects the program’s growth and its larger impact. It’s no longer a “mini” effort, but a bold step forward in shaping the future of young girls in netball.
